How to Help

Reins for Gains is a  501(c)3 not for profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of physically, mentally, emotionally socially and economically disadvantaged children by providing scholarships and grants for therapeutic riding programs.  

How your contributions are utilized

Some equine therapy programs are partially covered by health insurance while others are not covered at all. While these programs are extremely effective in aiding children in their emotional and physical development, they can be cost prohibitive for many families. Reins for Gains has made it our mission to eliminate these economic hurdles so that each and every child can reach his or her full potential.
Any individual recommended by a trainer, social worker or therapist may apply for a scholarship or grant. Reins for Gains then provides funding for the programs recommended by those qualified professionals.
When you join us, your donations go directly to those individuals that need them most, the children. Your donation does not go to the facility. This approach allows us to reach children from many walks of life. Please contribute generously and make a difference in a child’s life. You may be the only chance they have!
